MARGAO: Malfunctioning of the air-conditioner at the Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, created commotion when the tiatr lovers complained that it was unbearably hot promoting the tiatr director to refund money of about 60 tiatr lovers.
It was the first show of retired police officer Sammy Tavares’ new tiatr ‘Tumich Mhaka Sangat’.
As the tiatr was being staged, suddenly the air-conditioning in the Pai Tiatrist Hall stopped functioning much to the annoyance of the tiatr lovers, who were uncomfortable and felt suffocated.
Unable to concentrate, they started making a big noise which prompted the director to make an announcement that he would refund the money to those who wanted to leave the hall. Accordingly, about 60 tiatr lovers took their refund and left the venue.
It may be recalled that the auditorium was shut for maintenance for several months, however, the problem with the air conditioning still persists.
