MARGAO: The residents were left furious as the sewage water from three sewerage chambers on the Rawanfond Ring Road were overflowing and getting mixed with the rainwater and thereafter flowing out into the drains.
Furthermore, the locals pointed out that the area near this Rawanfond Ring Road at the Power House cross-road junction was beautified recently but this had blocked the flow of water and the natural catchment area.
They added that due to this, the low-lying area next to the ring road is submerged.
They pointed out that the common man may not realise that the water they are stepping on is mixed with sewage water.
