RCS members want transfers adhered as per notification

PONDA: Some employees of Registrar of Cooperative Society (RCS) have demanded strict adherence and implementation of Government notification to transfer the Agricultural marketing staff attached to RCS to Agricultural department.
RCS employees fear that seven staff of Agriculture Marketing attached to RCS would be deprived of their promotion causing them great injustice. There are around 200 employees with RCS.
According to employees working in RCS, a government notification of October 12, 2020 has amended the rules in business wherein Agriculture Marketing has been assigned to the Department of Agriculture by omitting it from Department of Cooperation.
The RCS employees further pointed out that despite the notification, the staff attached to Agriculture Marketing still continue with the RCS which is in contravention of the notification.
“The RCS had also published an advertisement on March 25, 2021 to fill the vacant post in agriculture marketing section which is in contravention to government notification,” said a member of a govt department.
