Refrain from holding meetings in pvt spaces, housing colonies told

PANJIM: The North and South Goa district administrations have issued advisory asking housing colonies to refrain from holding meetings in private spaces due to Health Emergency posed by COVID-19 in the country.

“In view of prevailing situation in the country due to the Health Emergency posed by COVID-19, an infection disease caused by coronavirus and to contain the spread of the said pandemic, certain measures are required to be taken,” the advisory reads.

The advisory, issued by North Collector R Menaka and South Collector Ajit Roy for their respective jurisdictions further mentions about the use all precautionary measures advised by the Health Department. 

“All the housing colonies are hereby advised not to convene meetings in the private spaces. In case of acute requirements such meetings are to be held with necessary precautionary requirements of social distancing, face cover, hand hygiene and such other instructions and guidelines issued by the Department of Health from time-to-time,” it said.
