Meanwhile, Sujata’s family arrived from Chikodi village in Karnataka on Saturday to take the custody of the children and bodies lying in the GMC morgue. A police team has also been sent to Gadhinglaj in Maharashtra to inform Shivaji’s family. 
The child welfare committee, North Goa has ordered Apna Ghar to depute a caretaker for the care and protection of the children in the hospital. 
The letter signed by CWC chairperson Audrey Pinto and other members, has directed round-the-clock security and asked the authorities to lodge children in Apna Ghar after their discharge, so that they are later handed over to the family after completing all formalities.
