MARGAO: In a major relief for nine aggrieved Madgaum Urban Cooperative Bank employees on recovery of wages, the Collector has sent a notice to the bank’s head office at Margao directing it to comply with the High Court order before August 8, 2017 or face attachment of its movable and immovable assets.
It may be recalled that the nine Bank employees had filed a case against the bank over recovery of their wages. The HC had ordered that the bank deposit the total settlement amount within 4 weeks which the bank failed to deposit.
