PONDA: The Ram idol consecration ceremony at Ayodhya Temple on Monday was commemorated with religious fervour and variety of programmes including processions in Ponda throughout the day.
Devotees hoisted flags on their houses. Since early morning to late evening there were processions, bike rallies and religious ceremonies in various temples including Ram and Hanuman temples. There were bhajans and Mahaprasad were also hheld. The artist from Ponda presented various art forms including Rangoli, related to the character of Rama.
