MARGAO: Meanwhile, BJP Margao workers met PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar and requested him to personally monitor the ongoing work of laying the sewerage lines in Comba on priority. This plea, was made with their main demand to the PWD to ensure that all the roads, which were dug for laying of the sewerage pipeline are repaired and hotmixed before March 10. That is, before the commencement of the auspicious ‘Zambaulim Shigmo’ at Comba.
The age-old festival, which is celebrated by all Margao residents, is fast approaching and the roads in Comba, which is the sacred holy place of Lord Daambaab need urgent repairs,” said a BJP Margao leader.
This year’s Zambaulim Shigmo will commence from Comba with the auspicious ‘Naaral Pujan’ on March 11. The same will be taken to Shree Damodar Temple at Zambaulim by a procession accompanied by thousands of Margao residents through the town and especially through Comba area.
