QUEPEM: The new changes in reservation upsets Raul Pereira, former chairperson of Quepem Municipality Council (QMC) as ward no. 10 from where he was supposed to contest the elections has been reserved for SC women.
The changes rippled a shock for former vice-chairperson of Quepem municipality Chetan Haldankar too. When contacted for his reaction, he said, “I can’t comments on this situation at present.”
Former chairperson Dayesh Naik was also contacted but he remained unreachable until later.
