Revenue officers directed to resolve all pending citizen complaints on priority

MARGAO: Directions have been issued to all concerned revenue officers of South Goa by District Collector Asvin Chandru, to urgently resolve and close all pending complaints filed by citizens with the centralised public grievance redressal and monitoring system portal (CPGRAMS).

The online platform is available to the citizens 24×7 to lodge any grievances related to service delivery to the public authorities. It is a single portal connected to all the Ministries/Departments of the Government of India and States.

The status of the grievance filed in CPGRAMS can be tracked with the unique registration ID provided at the time of registration of the complainant. CPGRAMS also provides an appeal facility to the citizens if they are not satisfied with the resolution by the grievance officer.

At the meeting held to review this, the Collector also asked the deputy collectors, joint mamlatdars and mamlatdars to hear and dispose of various matters such as mundkarial, tenancy, mutation, conversion, partition that come under various Acts or under the Land Revenue Code. The District Magistrate also reviewed the status of forest rights claims and the coastal regulatory zone matters.
