PANJIM: The agenda for the convention of components of Comunidades is likely to be finalised during the review meeting convened by Secretary (Revenue) Sandip Jacques at 10 am on Friday, January 5 at the Secretary mini conference room, Porvorim.
A five-member Commission comprising Comunidade members appointed by the government has so far received about 100 inputs and suggestions which will be incorporated while finalising the agenda for the convention scheduled at the NIO auditorium, Dona Paula on January 14.
The inputs and suggestions for agenda of the Comunidade Convention have been submitted by various Comunidades, individual components, registered Comunidade associations and the general public.
Estifano C D’Mello, Attorney of Pilerne Comunidade, Nelson Joe Fernandes, Attorney of Assagao Comunidade, Marvin Stanislavs Gonsalves, Member of Bambolim Comunidade, Savio Joaquim Filipe Correia, President Comunidade of Margao and Avinash Tavares, President of Comunidade of Colva are the members of the Commission appointed to prepare the agenda.
Savio Filipe Correia has been appointed as the moderator of the Commission.
Meanwhile, 220 delegates belonging to various Comunidades have been registered to attend the convention.
