Rickshaw, pick-up operators from Marcel demand relief package

Ponda: The rickshaw and pick-up operators at Marcel have demanded that the government gives them  a relief package. Around 25 members operating  from Marcel Stand lamented that they haven’t had any business for the last two months  and that their families are struggling to survive. They said they have not received a single customer or transporting goods job. They called on the local MLA and Chief Minister to intervene on their behalf as  they are worried about how they will  clear their pending loans.
