PANJIM: A 40-year old Dhodamarg rider died in an accident after being hit by a four-wheeler near Manipal Hospital, Dona Paula on Thursday.
Balkrishna Kadam was declared brought dead by the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) doctors.
Panjim Police have arrested the accused driver Pushpalata Rao from Taleigao, who was later released on bail. She is booked under Sections 279 and 304A of IPC.
Police said Kadam was dragged around 40 metres.
