PONDA: In a fatal accident at Paalwada-Usgao, bike rider Sagar Hanumant Mandrekar (34) resident of Bhamai-Usgao died in a self accident.
Sagar was returning home on a motorcycle from Usgao Tisk at around 10.30 pm on Monday.
It is learnt that he lost his control over his bike and went off the road and died of head injuries. It is learnt that he could not got medical aid immediately. An unknown person informed Ponda Police following which Sagar was rushed to PHC Usgao where
he was declared dead.
Locals suspect that stray cattle on the road might have been the cause of the accident.
Ponda Police are conducted further investigations.
