VASCO: A hoarding along the highway near Dabolim airport collapsed following strong winds and heavy rainfall leaving rider injured and car damaged.
Vasco police station sources informed that they received a call that a hoarding had collapsed on the highway near Dabolim airport.
A rider sustained injuries in the incident and was immediately shifted to the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim. A vehicle was also damaged.
Police later called up the Vasco fire station personnel and with the help of crane and hydraulic cutter, the hoarding was cut and kept aside. Vasco police are investigating.
