CANACONA: In an accident reported at Karmalghat between a two-wheeler and a car, the two-wheeler rider suffered injuries on Thursday morning.
Eyewitness said that the two-wheeler rider was travelling towards Canacona and when he was ascending the Karmalghat slope, he decided to overtake another vehicle. As he was overtaking at a blind curve, he was not able to control his two-wheeler and dashed head on against an oncoming car.
The two-wheeler rider was swung on the road which resulted in multiple injuries, however since he was wearing a headgear he survived, eye witnesses said. He was shifted in 108 Ambulance to Balli Health centre.
As the ill-fated motor cycle was in the middle of the highway and it caused mini traffic holdups till it was removed by the police.
