Incidents of uprooting of trees were reported at Navelim, Kudnem and Sal, while roofs of shops in Sanquelim and Bicholim market were blown away by the gusty winds. However, there was no much loss of property. The water level of the Anjunem dam touched almost 92.48 metres and dam authorities are keeping a close watch on the situation.
All the four gates of the dam have been opened and water is being released.
