RJ dies in accident with ambulance

PANJIM: A 53-year-old Radio Jockey (RJ) lost her life after an ambulance driver knocked the two-wheeler that she was riding at Goa Velha on Friday afternoon. 

Agassaim Police Inspector Uday Parab told Herald that the ambulance was proceeding towards GMC from Margao and dashed the two-wheeler, that Nilima Raikar, RJ with All India Radio, was riding. She was on her way to Margao. 

The impact of the accident was such that Raikar died on the spot as she was declared dead by 108 Ambulance. 

The PI said that driver Dhiraj Nikam has been arrested for the offence.
