RND staff suspension revoked

PANJIM: The River Navigation Department (RND) has revoked suspension of all ticket collectors and sailors, who were suspended in September-October for not depositing money collected by them from ferry commuters for the financial year 2011-12.

PANJIM: The River Navigation Department (RND) has revoked suspension of all ticket collectors and sailors, who were suspended in September-October for not depositing money collected by them from ferry commuters for the financial year 2011-12.  
In all 13 ticket collectors and sailors were suspended. On November 26, RND had revoked suspension of five ticket collectors while the suspension of the remaining eight was revoked on Wednesday. 
All the ticket collectors and sailors were accused of not depositing amount ranging between Rs 20,000 to Rs 50,000 collected by them. Director RND James Braganza confirmed that department has revoked suspension of all ticket collectors after they deposited the amount collected from commuters. 
Braganza said that the ticket collectors have now been asked to deposit the money collected from ferry commuters once a week.
