Due to some technical fault in the main drainage, the road gets flooded following continuous downpour.

According to Curchorem-Cacora Municipal Council chairperson Balkrishna (Pinty) Hodarkar, flooding occurs due to the T-junction drainage.

“The pressure of water coming from the upper side gets blocked and from sideways results in overflowing,” informed Hodarkar and admitted that this year the drainage portion has not been cleared.

He assured to request the PWD engineers along with municipal engineers to study the problem and find a solution to ensure smooth flow of water into the drainage system.
