HONDA: The road near Saleli bus stop, which is on the Honda-Valpoi route has caved in and is posing danger to the motorists.
Locals want the road to be repaired at the earliest. A few months ago the PWD had dug the road across to lay a new water pipeline for the village of Saleli. The dug road was filled with mud first but was later repaired with gravel and tar before the arrival of the monsoon. However, the road has caved in again due to heavy traffic.
The motorists fail to sense the groove and there are high chances of mishaps taking place. The locals have also complained of their vehicles breaking down due to the uneven road.
