PONDA: With the first flush of monsoon rains, the city roads and some under Curti Panchayat have turned to be quite vulnerable for pedestrians, motorist and the school children. The roads in these areas are dented and holed in effect to repair works by either municipal corporation or PWD or Sewerage Corporation, started untimely before the monsoon. City residents and Curti Panchayat locals have demanded urgent restoration of road, to avoid any fatality. Curti Khandepar Panchayat and PWD staffs, locals in city and panchayat, have planted trees on potholes at some places to attract attention of municipal authorities. The national highway passing through Curti, internal road at Upper Bazar, Service road by the side of the national highway at Kavlem are embellished with slippage cracking and potholes. Nagzar Curti Khandepar Deputy Sarpanch Shailesh Shet said most of road were dug by Sewerage Corporation and they are informed to restored the road immediately.
