MAPUSA: The road to Tivim railway station from the major district road in Tivim is in a bad condition and requires urgent repair, as it has developed huge potholes.
Thousands of people use this road everyday to reach the railway station.
“The condition of the road is deteriorating each passing day, but nobody bothers to repair it. The authorities have turned a blind eye. Thousands of people especially domestic tourists enter the State through this railway station and the condition of this road gives a bad impression to the tourists. Sometimes even foreign tourists come via train and get down at the Tivim railway station,” stated an annoyed taxi driver.
