PANJIM: Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) Mayor Rohit Monserrate was appointed chairman of Panjim Carnival Committee 2023 at a meeting held in his office on Tuesday. The carnival floats parade will be held at Panjim on February 18.
The other committee members include: Clen Madeira as vice chairman, Vivek Parsekar as secretary, Carolina Po as joint secretary, Sanjeev Naik as treasurer and Siddesh Naik as joint treasurer. Asmita Kerkar, Lorraine Dias, Bento Lorena, Silvester Fernandes and Eddie George were appointed as members. Francisco Martins, Tony Dias, Joaquim Telles and Timoteo Fernandes were appointed as advisory committee members.
