MARGAO: Lions Club of Margao in association with Ganesh Daivajna Educational Trust launched a unique programme at the Senior Citizens’ Club at Pedda Margao at the hands of Melwin John Fellow Lion Ganesh Daivajna on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
“Room of Kindness is a project where anybody can keep their clothes, utensils, shoes, books, etc which they no longer use and the same will be taken and used by people who need them. We shall accept anything except food,” said Lion Damodar Borkar.
This is the first project of its kind in Goa while a similar project is successfully carried out at Hubballi.
