PANJIM: After years of waiting, the Regional Plan 2021 will finally start rolling out from July this year.
Dy Chief Minister Francis D’Souza said that like last time, this time too the RP would be notified talukawise.
“It all depends on when the State Level Committee (SLC) clears the RP. We are expecting the plan to come out by July first week,” he told media persons.
He said that most objections and suggestions are from Bardez and Salcete for road-widening or change of zones from agriculture to settlement.
“About 1500 suggestions have come from these two talukas. But other talukas where the objections or suggestions are less than 500 we are expecting to be completed soon and their notification should be out by July,” he said.
