VASCO: Welcoming the decision of State government to review and implement the Goa Regional Plan 2021, Cortalim MLA Alina Saldanha said a small state like Goa with scarce land cannot afford to waste land and hence RP 2021 will give guidelines to the construction activity.
“They are saying that the Goa Regional Plan 2021 will be executed. I am glad that this RP 2021 will give guidelines to the construction activity, whether it is housing or roads or anything else concerned. I am glad that RP 2021 will act as the guiding force,” Saldanha said while speaking to reporters after launching set of works under DRDA in Velsao on Tuesday.
“I am sure that whatever new steps have to be taken with regards to zoning of the areas etc, the concerned departments will definitely look into it because one thing we have to really keep in mind that small state like Goa with scarce land cannot afford to waste land, so therefore whatever we do, has to be done in well planned manner and as per the need,” Saldanha added.
