Hari Gaude, Prashant Gaude, Krishna Gaude and Bhanudas Naik shared their experiences as to how the managements of various industries adopted “unfair” labour practices to harass the union leader.
, who had fought for workers’ rights and demands.
Bhanudas Naik said in order to bring the injustice meted out to the workers to the notice of the government they have united today.
He claimed to be a victim of harassment as his services too were terminated by the company at Usgao.
Hari Gaude said in order to prevent suicides out of harassment by companies, Government including the Labour Department should amend labour laws.
The workers demanded protection from harassment and service termination and called for a time limit provision in labour laws via a suitable amendment to settle the charter of demands by management within fixed time frame.
