PANJIM: “It is most unfortunate that the BJP played a fraud on the legislature and deprived lakhs of Goans of their livelihood, with a sole intention of personally targeting me. The documents available with me clearly reveal that the so called Public Accounts Committee (PAC) report on mining and the so called Rs 35,000 crore mining scam never existed”, said Leader of the Opposition Digambar Kamat on Thursday.
Speaking to media persons, emotionally charged Kamat said, “I have full faith in God and I always say that the truth always prevail. He produced various documents and communications obtained from the Goa Legislature Department, Directorate of Mines and Geology, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, New Delhi to prove his point that the so called PAC report on mining never existed and there was no scam of Rs 35,000 crore.
