PANJIM: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat will be in Goa on November 6, to attend a function at Dr B K Hedgewar High School.
He will, however, not address any public meeting in the State nor interact with local RSS leaders during his one-day visit.
State RSS chief Subhash Velingkar confirmed Bhagwat’s visit. Bhagwat will unveil a statue of Hedgewar at the school complex at Cujira, Bambolim.
Bhagwat had last visited Goa in December 2014, when he had attended the 40th Giants International Convention.
The three-day RSS national executive meeting is currently underway, wherein it is expected to adopt a resolution calling for a check in the ‘imbalance’ of population growth.
