Porvorim: Ruling MLA Nilesh Cabral hit out at Power Minister Ramkrishna Sudin Dhavlikar twice during the Calling Attention motion tabled by Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar on the condition of flats built by Housing Board at Baina, Vasco.
While replying to the dilapidated condition of flats sold by Housing Board at Baina, Vasco Minister Sudin Dhavalikar read out a note and said that the owners had to constitute a maintenance society and maintain the flats. So Housing Board had nothing to do with the repairs. In case the occupants want to go for redevelopment, he said they can approach the Housing Board.
Ruling MLA Nilesh pointed out that Sudin was contradicting himself that Housing Board had nothing to do with the flats and then said that the maintenance society can come to the Housing Board for redevelopment.
On another occasion when Sudin claimed that the flats were constructed 50 to 55 years ago by the MGP government under Housing Board, he told Sudin to correct his facts and said that Housing Board was not constituted 50 years ago.
