MARGAO: The Maina-Curtorim police have arrested Rahil Panwala, a resident of Rumdamol, for allegedly hatching a criminal conspiracy to murder 23-year-old Sadique Bellary at Rumdamol, Davorlim.
The police have added Section 120B of the IPC, which deals with criminal conspiracy, against the accused. Initially, a case was registered against two individuals under Section 302 read with Section 34 of the IPC.
As the investigation progressed, it was revealed that Sadique’s murder was the result of a conspiracy, leading to the addition of these sections. Kahdar Khan Khanzada, whose brother was murdered by Bellary in 2020, and Tausif Kademani have been arrested by the police.
