Loutolim: Attending a well seated meeting of workers of the Loutolim area, Congress candidate said that Nuvem had given the Congress the highest lead in the constituency in the 2009 Parliamantary election. He said that he is sure the people will not disappoint this time around too. He said despite the stand of the local MLA that is against the wishes of the people, he is confident that the people of Loutolim are firmly behind him. He assured the people that they do not have to fear the BJP anymore as he has proved to the state by organizing a meeting in the Sanguem constituency besides resistance from the local BJP MLA. 
Present at the meeting was panch Joseph Colaco, Panch Maria Fernandes, Panch Custadio Fernandes, Ex Sarpanch Jose Fernandes, Peter Gomes, General Secretary of South Goa Congress District Committee.
Guirdolim: At a meeting organized by Independent aspirant in 2012 elections from Cuncolim John Monteiro, a large group of people from Guirdolim attended the meeting in support of Congress candidate Reginaldo Lourenco.
Seated on the dais was Derek Braganza Vice President Cuncolim Block Congress Committee, ex MLA from Canaconna Isidore Fernandes, Goemkar Member Prashant Naik, Adv Ignatius Dias and other.
John Monteiro explained how South Goa has already decided that theyw ant Reginaldo to represent them as their MP. He said that the people of Goa have seen the inefficiency of the ruling govt for the past two years. If the BJP canoot perform at a state level, how can the BJP be any different at the centre? he questioned. He made a detailed comparison of the Congress govt and BJP govt in Goa and explained how they have only been fooling the people in the name of Democracy.
Prashant Naik said that it is time to unite all secular forces in order to maintain peace and order in our state. When BJP has deserted their senior party leader, LK Advani, Murli Manohar Josih and Jasvant Singh how can we put our trust in Modi? Who’s not to say he wont do that to all Indians if he can do it to his senior loyal partymen? he asked. He said that even though he is not part of the Congress he is standing in support of Reginaldo only so that such dictatorial leaders can be put to rest.
Candidate Reginaldo said he was very happy that the people of Guirdolim have decided to support him. He maintained that he is contesting this election to represent the people in the Lok Sabha. In his few days of campaigning, he has got a personal understanding of the hardships of a larger section of the people of Goa, and promised not to let them down, but work effortlessly to resolve the issues pending in our state.
Vasco: On the last day of campaigning, Congress Candidate Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco addressed a massive meeting in Vasco organized by the Vasco Block Committee. The meeting saw an unexpected crowd of hundreds of people braving the summer heat to hear the last speech of the Congress Candidate. 
Present on stage were Ex MLA of Vasco Jose Philip D’souza, Congress Minority Chief Saifulla Khan, Social Activist Tara Kerkar, Councillors and other Congress members of the Vasco area.
Speaking at the meeting Saifulla said that after campaigning extensively for the past days he is sure that the entire minority community of the South Goa Constituency are united and are firmly backing Reginaldo. 
Jose Philip has said that though he is from the NCP, he has agreed to the alliance decided by the party, as he also felt that somehere it would split the secular vote. However he said that Reginaldo is a good candidate and is a young clean face. 
Lastly Reginaldo said as his campaign comes to a close, he is overwhelmed by the people of the constituency for their love and support. He thanked Vascokars for coming out in large number on this last day of campaigning and assured them of his support if elected as MP.
 Reginaldo said the last few days have been tiresome but he was indebted to the workers and supporters for their efforts in organizing various meetings, yatra and public meetings in all the constituencies. He said he will never dishonour the trust and faith that people have put in him. Concluding the meeting he thanked all the MLA’s, leaders, Congress members and other people who have helped him in his last few days of campaigning.
