PANJIM: Corporation of City of Panaji (CCP) councillor Nelson Cabral has urged the Superintendent of Police (Traffic) to safeguard the interests of the majority of residents of Dona Paula and surrounding areas while streamlining the traffic movement ahead of opening of the renovated Dona Paula jetty on December 5.
Following the dismissal of intervention application of the Dona Paula residents by the High Court of Bombay at Goa, Cabral in a letter to SP (Traffic) said that majority of Dona Paula residents are confused as to the follow-up action and that they have requested him to represent their interests to arrive at a win-win situation for all.
