MARGAO: Special focus will be laid on road safety for senior citizens while observing the 30th National Road Safety Week from February 4 to 10 by GOACAN in the villages and towns of Goa during its ongoing campaign on road safety and traffic management.
Senior citizens have raised various issues concerning them like having proper signages, more zebra crossing, maintenance of subways, removing obstructions on footpaths along with more notified bus stops and bus bays said GOACAN Coordinator Roland Martins.
GOACAN will highlight the role of senior citizens as members of the Road Safety and Traffic Management Committee.
