Saipem villagers, at a meeting on Wednesday collectively demanded that the Berger-Becker paint company in the Pilerne Industrial Estate be relocated area to another place. The residents of the area formed a committee, that will lead the movement against the company, due to which they are suffering
Locals stated that the wells in the village are now contaminated and this is forcing the people to buy water. A panch member informed that they will request the Pollution Control Board to install a pollution monitoring machine in Saipem.
