Salaries of Balrath Employees to be revised: CM Sawant assures the house

Panjim: On Tuesday, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant assured the
House that the department will revise the salaries of all the Balrath employees
and also give them better grants. CM added that on Tuesday he will be meeting
the union leader and explain to them in detail about the future plan.

Wages of Balrath Employees will be revised satisfactorily after
discussing with Union Leader and other four members tomorrow,” CM Dr.
Pramod Sawant

Bicholim MLA Dr. Chandrakant Shetye raised issue faced by various
aided and Government schools, due to sudden stoppage of Bal Rath services, as
the Balrath service employees have threatened to go on  indefinite strike due to their unfulfilled
demands. Meanwhile CM sawant said that he has spoken to striking Balrath
services employees union leader and heard their concerns. He also said that
their issues will be resolved wherein they have assured to withdraw their
strike. Meanwhile Michael, Yuri Alemao, Delilah lobo and Dr Shetye
requested Chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant to increase their salaries from 10-12
thousand per month to Rs. 20000 per month.
