PANJIM: The State government on Tuesday appointed Ramkrishna Samant as Chairman of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE). Samant, who is holding charge as Deputy Director of Education, will be relieved on Wednesday from the Directorate of Education. Earlier, Principal of Damodar Higher Secondary School, Gudi Paroda, Dr Uday Gaonkar had been given additional charge as chairman of GBSHSE. He was also Vice Chairman of the board.
