VASCO: A Sancoale resident succumbed to his injuries sustained in an accident while undergoing treatment in the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim, on Thursday.
Verna Police said they received a wireless message from GMC on Wednesday informing that one Vijay Patel, residing near Wow Kids School, Sancoale, has been admitted in Ward No 108 as he sustained injuries in an accident at Sancoale. Vijay was proceeding on his scooter from Birla Cross Junction to Queeny Junction at high speed. Near Kala Bhavan, he reportedly lost control and fell into a drain and sustained serious injuries. He was shifted to GMC in an ambulance where he succumbed while undergoing treatment. PSI Shridhar Kamat is investigating the case.
