VASCO: Sancoale panchayat at a special meeting on Friday decided to request the people to maintain social distancing and observe seven days self lockdown in the area from Upasnagar Housing Board Colony to MES College.
Due to the rising cases of COVID-19 the panchayat concluded that since Zuarinagar is thickly populated the rise in cases is serious and it can spread in the entire village. All panch members present for the meeting decided to request people to maintain social distancing and observe seven days of lockdown.
Acting Sarpanch Kavita Kamal wrote to Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant informing about the decision taken by the panch members.
