VASCO: Sancoale Sarpanch Ramakant Borkar assured the Gram Sabha members that the Panchayat NOC given to a new barge repair yard in Sancoale would be revoked. The issue was raised in the Gram Sabha meeting held on Sunday.
“We had given NOC for the barge repair yard on the basis of permissions given by various government departments however if the villagers are having objections then Panchayat would not hurt the sentiments of the people and would revoke our NOC”, he told.
Borkar also informed the Gram Sabha members that the Panchayat has received communication from government to grant NOC’s to applicants seeking Power and Water connections, and the Panchayat would do the needful.
Commenting on pending work of Kala Bhavan, Borkar again reiterated his demand of handing over possession of Kala Bhavan to the Panchayat.
