CURCHOREM: The flying squad led by Quepem Mamlatdar Prataprao Gaonkar along with Curchorem PSI Viju Dessai, Talathi Girish Sawant and Surveyor from Mamlatdar office Sandip Borkar conducted raid and attached a truck laden with five meters of sand along with spades and gamela which were used in the extraction at Xirford-Curchorem on Friday.
The Mamlatdar office has reportedly served notice on the driver of the truck Mohsin Khan, a resident of Shirvodem-Navelim, as he failed to produce transit pass and the truck has been kept in the custody of the Curchorem police and further action will be initiated by the mines department.
