BICHOLIM: Bicholim mamlatdar on Wednesday seized 80 cubic metres of sand during raids at Amona and Navelim respectively.
According to the available information, the raid was conducted by the mamlatdar, Pravinjay Pandit and the illegally extracted sand, which was seized, was later dumped into the river.
Circle inspector Sahadev Mote; talathi Gauresh Naik and constable Manoj Gawas assisted the mamlatdar during the raid. The raid was conducted as per High Court directives.
