MAPUSA: Around 181 cubic metres of illegally extracted sand was seized in two separate raids at Pirna and Kodexel-Nadora respectively.
During the first raid at Pirna, the raiding team seized 30 cubic metres of illegally extracted sand dumped along the river bank at Pirna.
In the second incident, the team rushed to Kodexel-Nadora and seized around 151 cubic metres of illegally extracted sand on the banks of River Chapora.
Colvale Police have been instructed to maintain strict vigil at the sites.
