SANGUEM: Acting on the complaint filed by Chief Officer of Sanguem Municipal Council Bhagwant Anay Karmali, the Sanguem Police after preliminary investigation has filed an FIR against unknown persons for theft of construction license file under Ref No SMC/Const License/2009/56 dated 10.08.2009 and outward register for the period 08.02.2011 to 20.08.2013.
Karmali in his complaint to the police pointed out that the facts pertaining to the missing file and the outward register came to light after the council started searching for the records upon receipt of application under RTI by one Jervis Fernandes, a resident of Sanguem.
