PANJIM: Registrar of Co-operative Societies Sanjiv Gadkar, who was given the charge as acting Director of Tourism Department during the leave of Menino D’Souza, has been given full time charge of the Tourism Department. D’Souza has been posted as the Registrar of the Co-operative Societies.
Gadkar and D’Souza are among 20 Senior Scale officers who have been transferred from their present place of posting, in an order issued on Monday. Director of Social Welfare S V Naik has been posted as MD of Goa IDC while MD of Goa Solid Waste Management Corporation Sanjit Rodrigues has been given the charge of Goa Tourism Development Corporation, replacing the current MD Nikhil Desai.
The government has further posted Additional Chief Electoral Officer N S Navti as Director of Information & Publicity Department, Additional Secretary (GA) Amarsen Rane as Additional Secretary (Home) while Director of Information Technology Srinet Kothwale is given the charge of MD Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation. Since Navti is on duty for the upcoming by-polls and Lok Sabha elections, Kothwale is given the additional charge of the DIP.
Additional Collector-I North Vikas Gaunekar is given the additional charge of the post of Director of Settlement & Land Records, Pravin Barad (Awaiting posting) is posted as Director (Admn) of Kala Academy, Mahesh Corjuenkar as Director (Admn) Electricity Department, Narayan Gad as Director (Admn) Education Department and Parag Nagorcekar is posted as MD (Goa Education Development Corporation) and given the additional charge of the post of State Project Director of Goa Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.
Under Secretary to Chief Minister Shushan Savoikar who has been promoted from Junior Scale officer to Senior Scale is given the charge of Joint Secretary to Chief Minister. Other Junior Scale officers Sheru Shirodkar, Varsha Naik, Anju Kerkar, Gaurish Kurtikar, Brijesh Manerkar and Santosh Kundaikar are also promoted and posted in different departments.
