BICHOLIM: The Bicholim police today detained more than 10 suspects in connection with murder of a 44-year-old woman from Rawan, Sattari.
It may be recalled that a body an unknown woman was found in the Anjunem dam canal at Kulan, Sanquelim on Friday. The incident came to light after some locals spotted a body in the water.
The woman was identified as Dhanashree D Morajkar from Rawan, Sattari. Sources said the woman was strangulated to death and her mobile was found along Harvalem main road.
North Goa SP Utkrisht Prasoon and DySP Gurudas Gawde were interrogating the suspects at the police station.
