BICHOLIM: Some schools in Sanquelim postponed their exams after the advisory and even as some students failed to make it to the school in the morning.
The Progress High School in Sanquelim which had scheduled its exams on Tuesday postponed them to August 13.
“Some of the students especially from Virdi and other areas were not able to make it to the school as the entire road towards Virdi was flooded,” Headmistress Surekha Desai said.
Several schools from Sanquelim also sent the students home early due to heavy rains.
