BICHOLIM: Bicholim Police have registered an offence against a 25 years old youth from Sanquelim for hurting religious sentiments. According to the Bicholim Police, one Basavraj Muchandi (25) from Sanquelim posted objectionable pictures of Hindu Goddess in a WhatsApp group.
The group admin Dattaraj Chodankar filed a police complaint against the person and an offence was registered by the police under Section 295 IPC. PSI Kishor Ramanand is further investigating the case under the guidance of PI Mahesh Gadekar.
