OLD GOA: Santa Cruz Sarpanch Vincent Lourenco was ousted from office after the no-confidence motion against him was passed by 6-0 votes at a special meeting in the panchayat hall on Friday. Deputy Sarpanch Diksha Kavlekar, Panchas Tony Fernandes, Indira Fernandes, Maria Rodrigues, Namdev Naik and Sauanna Araujo remained present for the meeting, while other panchas, including Sarpanch Lourenco, remained absent. EOVP Anil Dhumaskar was the observer for the meeting.
